Getting Started
- Label your boxes by room so they get put in    the right spot the first time
- Label your rooms (bedroom 1,2, living room etc) so your movers know what goes where
- Focus on unpacking your bedroom first- then work on one room at a time
- Start with the essentials and purchase the more secondary items in stages

- If moving in with a partner or spouse, take inventory to avoid double items
- Owning a new home means as a lot of responsibility. Know what you're getting into.
- All-at-once renovating will make your crazy! Work one step at a time.

Apartment 101
- If renting an apartment, be clear with your landlord about your expectations of him
- Know what you're responsible for, like painting the apartment back to its original color
- Smaller spaces mean more chance for clutter, so bring essentials and store the rest
