What Florida is Thinking on Energy Issues

Video: The Petroleum Issue

America's energy future is one of the top issues on the minds of Florida voters during the upcoming primary as the nation looks for leadership to resolve the deficit crisis and help get our economy back on track.  According to a recent poll of 600 Florida voters, nearly 80% favor more development of U.S. oil and natural gas resources.  Similar numbers believe more development would provide major benefits to the nation, including more U.S. jobs.

The U.S. is the world's largest producer of natural gas and the third largest producer of oil.  Increasing our oil and natural gas development, could create over a million new jobs and $127 billion in government revenue in less than ten years.
