Video: Meet Kirsten & Jasmin & "All I Want"

After performing for years as a successful acoustic solo act, Kirsten Campbell suddenly discovered a musical collaboration with Jasmin Martinez that was a sure fit.  Kirsten challenged Jasmin to come out from behind the drums and share center stage.  Having played the acoustic guitar minimally throughout high school and college, it wasn't until the past year that Jasmin began doing so with the intent to song-write.  Kirsten and Jasmin quickly recognized the potential to combine their vast musical styles and began to collaborate to create their own style.  The result is a unique combination of rhythmic ear catching tunes, tight harmonies, and  provocative  introspective lyrics.

Individually Kirsten and Jasmin bring  solid musical attributes to the table: Jasmin composes the driving rhythmic energy, and Kirsten provides the melodic lyrical content. When combined, it creates a unique and versatile sound: "Our voices and vocal styles are so different, yet they blend together to create soothing unique harmonies - something we knew was special the first time we tried it". "Playing together for the first time was like finding the missing puzzle piece".

Kirsten and Jasmin have also grabbed their audience's attention with their ukulele songs: "One of the first things we wanted to do was have dueling ukuleles. We don't really duel, but they are a blast to play." With their first EP underway, they hope to capture the energy of their live show and impact their listeners with what they both find in music.
