JAMES TAYLOR CURTIS was born March 21st 1976 in Landstuhl Germany to his Air Force parents. He was the youngest of three children. He and his two sisters were introduced to the world of music at a very young age. They performed on stage with there mother & father as a family band entertaining military troops. By his fathers side Curtis would play his own little guitar, sing an steal the show. It was very clear that his love and natural abilities was going to take him to the top as an entertainer.
Curtis and his family move to Nashville Tn, there couldn't been a better time and location. He was old enough to let his young talent grow. Seeing and meeting some of Nashville's Biggest Country Legends: Johnny Cash, George Jones, Waylon Jennings's, and Keith Whitley just to mention a few, was a real education for Curtis Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and other Rock and Roller's were tearing up the radio, allowing Curtis to gain the knowledge of both worlds Country and Rock an Roll Music which has proved to be a very valuable part of Curtis musical talent .
After graduating Land O Lakes High School Curtis enrolled at Florida Metropolitan University. However, college life could not compete with his love and desire to entertain with his own music. Curtis has set his goals and put then in motion. He has written his own material and recorded his first CD.Curtis an accomplished Singer/Songwriter and Entertainer, put together his coast to coast traveling road band " Silver Eagle Band " Curtis and the Silver Eagle Band performs approximately 250 dates per year at Club's, Festival's, Fair's, Concert's and other large venue's thought-out the United States .
Curtis and the Silver Eagle Band have opened and performed with some of country music's biggest artist such as: Big & Rich, Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Lonestar, Rascal Flatts, and many other recording artist's The true original style of James Taylor Curtis is Pure, Honest and comes Straight from the Heart. Curtis & the Silver Eagle Band have achieved widespread popularity and the James Taylor Curtis Silver Eagle Band performs over 220 days a year. Frequent dates, the famous Cowboys of Dothan AL. James Taylor Curtis has just finished his new CD for 2010 and his song HUSH; a touching song of a family dealing with cancer has become a theme song for the Children's Cancer Center.
