K-Alliance Gives Back

K Alliance, one of the area?s leading technology training and certification providers, recently launched a free educational program designed to boost Bay area residents? confidence when looking for future employment. The effort represents a retraining incentive geared towards a reorganization of personal career talents. The initiative is open to those who are currently unemployed and seeking technology skills advancement. The K Alliance Cares program offers 14 training courses in various applications including Adobe, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office. The free program is limited to 200 applicants and will operate through January 15, 2010.

As the Tampa Bay area continues to recover from the economic downturn, hiring managers and departments will seek to fill available positions with qualified individuals. The K Alliance Cares Program will assist personnel who are interested in cross training with materials designed to enhance their personal skills. In turn, these new and improved abilities may be utilized in order to apply for positions in the IT field as they become available. Hugh Nguyen, President and CEO of K Alliance, offered his vision in connection with the creation of the K Alliance Cares Program and why it was an essential sponsorship for the community: ?As the Tampa Bay area reclaims its position in the workforce and escapes these difficult economic times, I wanted K Alliance to take an active role as a conduit.

This initiative serves individuals that are poised for change and ready to prepare themselves with the skills to achieve prosperity through the procurement of the highly skilled occupations in need of personnel.?

The training syllabus of the K Alliance Cares Program includes the following titles in the category of Adobe, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office
