Video: Doritos Challenge!
$5 Million is on the Line!
Erwin McManus from Miami is on his way to the Super Bowl!
In the midst of all the zillion dollar Madison Avenue commercials during the Super Bowl, there will be a few brilliant creations turned out for zero budgets by regular folks.
The $5 million ?Crash the Super Bowl? contest invited thousands of would-be filmmakers to create their own Super Bowl commercials.
It?s now down to six finalists from around the country including Erwin, who grew up in Miami and went to South Florida High.
Now Erwin?s ?Casket? commercial is one of the top contenders for the top prize and a chance to appear during the Super Bowl.
Aside from the game, what?s the most anticipated event of Super Bowl night? The commercials of course! The Super Bowl is typically the most watched television program of the year, and the 44th annual game will be no different.
For the fourth year, the Doritos brand is giving creative fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ?Crash the Super Bowl.?
Six finalists will try to top the Herbert brothers who shocked the world last year when they took the top spot in the USA TODAY Ad Meter and won a million dollars.
The Doritos brand is upping the ante this year, and if amateur filmmakers can take the top three spots in the USA TODAY Ad Meter, then the trio will share in a five million dollar jackpot!
