   Millions of drivers will load up their cars and hit the road this summer for family vacations, and The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that 660 highway fatalities are caused by underinflated tires annually.  Early June kicks off National Tire Safety Week - a valuable reminder about one of the most important, yet overlooked, components of cars that keep us safe on the road: the tires. 

Engineer Sarah Robinson, one of the few female test drivers in the U.S., has built her career around safe driving and making the tires the safest they can be on the road. 

About Sarah K. Robinson - As the first female test driver at Michelin, Sarah K. Robinson is paving a new road for women in the automotive world. Robinson current responsibilities as a subjective test driver for Michelin include evaluating tire performance. Sarah also develops and coordinates all demonstrations at Michelin's test track, Laurens Proving Grounds in Greenville, South Carolina.
