ABOUT SISSY BIGGERS: At age 16, Sissy Biggers made her television debut as an imposter on To Tell the Truth. In addition to a lifetime supply of Turtle Wax car products and the satisfaction of duping Peggy Cass, Sissy came away with a vision of a career in television. Sissy joined Food Network as host of the popular franchise program, Ready Set Cook! Quick to remind the audience, "I am not a chef, and I don't play one on TV!" Sissy was among the first to segue into this genre of food meets entertainment Sissy was a regular on the Later Today Show where she also substituted as a co-anchor. She continued onto the Today Show as a food and lifestyle contributor. Sissy's many other guest appearances include Weekend Today, The Other Half, The Christopher Lowell Show, The View, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Maury Povich and the Sally Jesse Raphael Show. She has substituted as a co-anchor for the CBS overnight news broadcast, Up to the Minute. Last year she joined William Shatner on the UPN Network as a color commentator and for the American version of Iron Chef, USA and this fall she joined the new CBS Early Show as a family lifestyle contributor on behalf of Better Homes & Gardens website, most recently reporting live from the International Housewares Show in Chicago. Last year she contributed to AOL as their online entertaining advisor in nationally televised appearances. Sissy and her husband, Kelsey and their two daughters, Sarah and Lucy live in Connecticut where she is a community volunteer, dedicated home-cook and energetic hostess.
