Vineyards at the Venue
The Venue announced today the launch of its Food and Wine International Passport Series with an inaugural event titled "Vineyards at The Venue" to benefit The Abilities Foundation, May 8, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.
With presenting sponsor Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), Tampa Bay food and wine enthusiasts will enjoy a three-part series of events dedicated to food, wine, friends, fun and charity. The evening begins with an RNDC Grand Wine Tasting that will feature premier purveyors and sommeliers facilitating the tour inside of The Venue's 25-thousand square-foot facility.
The tasting transitions into a prix fixe five-course dinner and wine pairing, with tableside sommelier service and only 55 seats available for reservation. Finally, a casual wine social with live entertainment will gather a crowd in The Venue's award-winning restaurant Viaggio, with tasted products available for purchasing.
Schedule of Events
6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Wine touring and Grand Tasting with premier wine purveyors from around the world. Sommelier presents, ?Wine and Dine," an interactive discussion on all things food and wine.
6:30 p.m. Through a 30-min. interactive food and wine pairing demo, Executive Chef Rob Uzzillia and Sommelier Kyle Corman present, "How to create pairing favorites that complete the wine experience."
7:30 - 9:30 p.m. Limited to 55 people, take your seat for a five-course prix fixe dinner and exclusive wine pairing, with tableside wine presentations and sommelier service throughout.
10:00 p.m. - **The Wine Social is a casual gathering of people who enjoy people...and wine.

$100 per person, Grand Touring Package (all three events; all inclusive).
$20 per person for the Grand Tasting only.
$65 (+,+) per person for five-course prix fixe dinner only, limit 55 seats.
$20 per person for The Wine Social. **Enjoyed wines will be available for order.
