Stephanie Anderson, originally from the Midwest, recognized her love for music at an early age. Singing came as naturally to her as anything, and even as a young child she became aware of her desire to perform. Her family eventually moved to Bonney Lake, Washington, where Stephanie wrote her first song at the age of 12. She began singing in choral productions, talent shows, and solo competitions. Soon after her 21st birthday, she bought her first guitar and discovered what an essential tool it would be in her progression towards a career in music.

Upon graduation from Central Washington University, Stephanie moved to the Tampa Bay area and began to work her way into the local music scene. She began singing in duos, and bands performing various music styles such as rock, reggae, folk, and blues. She gained most of her stage experience singing with the band Lil' Pearl & Fat Daddy, who became quite popular around the Pinellas County blues circuit. In the meantime, she continued to practice guitar and grow in her songwriting.

In June of 2001, Stephanie played her first solo show at a youth summer camp in New Hampshire. Shortly after that, she began a regular Monday night gig at the James Joyce Irish Pub in Ybor City. Given the opportunity to perform her original material for the first time, Stephanie realized that she was ready to devote her time and energy to developing herself as a solo act.

Drawing from her diverse musical background, Stephanie creates a show covering a rather wide range of styles and eras in music. She is very versatile in her performance, playing diverse venues while catering to their own unique crowd. She plays at: Irish pubs, coffee houses, live music bars, restaurants, parties, events, and to happy hour crowds. At each place, she is able to adjust her performance accordingly, in order to create the right atmosphere. With her impressive vocal range, song selection, and talent, Stephanie is certain to please most any crowd.

Above all, Stephanie's passion derives from her own songwriting, and her own development as an artist. Her original music mixes catchy melodies with insightful, thoughtful lyrics. Each song is unique, both in style and content. Stephanie's powerful, beautiful voice will stop you in your tracks the first time you hear it. She will make you laugh, cry, and think.
