Video: Give Your Home that Holiday Sparkle!

The shopping is done, the menu is set and the holidays are right around the corner.  But is your home ready for a close-up visit from your holiday visitors?  Celebrity designer, Angelo Surmelis, is here with tips for getting your home looking great during this busy time of year - from décor elements that make your home sparkle to the cleaning secrets that will get your home to pass even the closest of inspections.
 
Angelo is also challenging viewers to raise their cleaning standards to "high definition" just in time for the holidays.  From November 7th through January 5th, consumers are invited to post photos of their picture-perfect rooms and share their cleaning tips on the HD Clean Contest Application on www.facebook.com/swiffer.  Once the top 10 rooms have been selected, fans will vote on the top rooms to help select a grand prize winner. This winner will receive a surprise home visit by Angelo, a year's supply of select products and their room featured on television.
 
Angelo Surmelis, Celebrity Designer
Angelo Surmelis has established himself as one of the most respected and sought after designers in the motion picture and television industry, with a diverse client list that includes celebrities, entertainment executives, events and television/film projects. In addition to his television shows, Angelo continues to design spaces and events for his company Swell Space, which is one of Los Angeles's premiere design firms.  Angelo is the wildly popular host of Rate My Space the makeover series inspired by the successful online Rate My Space community.  Before moving to Rate My Space, Angelo launched two design shows, TLC's Clean Sweep and Lifetime's Merge.  Clean Sweep ran for six seasons, with Angelo designing more than 120 rooms on that series alone.  In addition to rate my space, he also hosted and designed four seasons of the series 24 Hour Design and combined has transformed more than 300 rooms.  Angelo has been featured on Summer Showdown, My Celebrity Home for Style Network, Good Day Live, The KTLA Morning Show, CNN and the Tyra Banks Show, among others.
