Video: Seasonal & year-round style!

The holidays - for some it is NOT the most wonderful time of the year. When you think about the shopping and wrapping and decorating that have to be done in a short time, many people throw up their hands and say, "Let someone else host the holidays!"

There are a ton of excuses not to entertain at home: it takes too long, the house is too cluttered and it costs too much to decorate in a really nice style. We've got the expert to put all those excuses to rest, and show you how easy and fun holidays at home can be.

Design expert Susanna Salk shares her advice on how to give our homes the perfect festive feel throughout the holiday season. And she'll even explain how we can do this without breaking the bank! She'll share her unique vision, showing us how to make an aesthetic impact with ideas that include:

-Timeless Dining Room Settings: Dress your basic dishes and table cloths with accessories in colors that make a table that feels festive and chic and yet not too dependent on one kind of holiday decor: this gives you options for a whole year of entertaining, not just December!
- Mantle Makeovers: Holiday decorations don't always have to be about pine trees and glitter.  Lean a collection of botanical prints against the wall all along the mantel with framed vintage photos of family members that have special meaning, surrounded by white lights and topiaries.
- Adding Warm Touches Through the Whole House: Simple additions can make a big decorative impact. Create a "Tablescape" on hallway tables, coffee tables or even end tables with bowls filled with ornaments, a vase with branches and white lights or an old childhood toy for a special memory.
