Steven J. Whittle is one of the nation's most renowned renovation specialists.  Through his work on TV, collaborations with national and regional magazines and renovating private clients homes; Steven has set himself apart from the rest of the crowd with his knowledge, Midwest charm and down-to-earth personality. Most recently, Steven's TV work includes the Construction Manager role on the pilot season of HGTV's 'All American Handyman'.  Prior to that, he was the Carpenter for 9 episodes of HGTV's'Home Rules'.

Steven was the Co-Host and On-Air Carpenter for 26 episodes of HGTV's 'Save My Bath' and 'Bad Bad Bath'.

In 2008, he was the official Host and Green Expert of the Better Homes & Gardens 'Living Green' Tour.  He traveled the country educating consumers on how to live and build responsibly. Steven's professional experience includes projects with numerous magazines including Better Homes and Gardens, Lucky and Glamour.  He has appeared on CNN, Better TV and several regional morning TV and radio shows speaking about green living.  He has worked on the ESPY Awards, The View, DIFFA and many collaborations with Interior Designer Libby Langdon.  Libby and Steven's work has graced the covers of Decorating Spaces, Hampton's Style and Hampton's Cottages & Gardens.  Steven has learned throughout his career to be creative and resourceful about how to use and add to existing materials.  Whether designing for a set, recycling props for a play or restoring woodwork in a residential project, there is always an eye towards conservation.  Whittle's Art Department was created in 2001 with this in mind.
