The Art of Meditation

When it comes to achieving optimum health, it's not all about the body.  Engaging the mind and spirit and clearing out stressors which often overtake our positive energy can help us become healthier both mentally, and physically.  Meditation has sort of become a catch-all term which has muddied the actual benefits and mechanics of the idea, so here at Studio 10, we thought we would bring in an expert to help us learn how to find balance.

About Haris Lender
Haris (Harini) Lender is a certified Integral Yoga teacher. She teaches Yoga classes in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she lives with her daughters. Highly creative and an expert camper and outdoorsperson, she runs Camp Yogaville in Virginia every summer. Among her many accomplishments are completing an Outward Bound course in North Carolina, studying with the National Outdoor Leadership School in Kenya, Africa, where she lived with Masai warriors, running the outing club at the University of North Carolina (hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, etc.), and serving as a Brownie Troop leader.
