Vetmade Industries

About Vetmade Industries
Vetmade Industries, Inc. is an idea created by Col. John Campbell, a veteran of the US Army, who enjoys a lifelong passion for woodworking. He wanted to share this hobby with others and teach them valuable skills. John decided to reach out and train fellow veterans, specifically unemployed disabled vets, the art of woodworking as a means to help them get back on their feet.

Although creating fine, hand-crafted wood art and furniture is the product of Vetmade, the ultimate goal is much greater. According to their website, Vetmade employs, trains, and develops disabled veterans with the goal of ultimately placing them in good-paying, long-term careers . Vetmade Industries serves as a bridge between veteran support organizations such as the Veterans Administration, other non-profit Veteran support organizations, and the private business sector. Vetmade pairs exceptionally qualified veterans with equally exceptional businesses. What sets Vetmade Industries apart from other veteran support organizations is their "Family Business" approach to preparing a veteran for future employment. When an American joins the military, he or she joins a family, this family will not forsake them after they take off the uniform.

Vetmade Industries survives through the support of the American public. Each sale represents United States military veterans hard at work. All profits from their sales go directly back to the veterans in the form of better wages, upgraded machines, and the opportunity to expand their work force. Vetmade believes the best way to help is to place an order, the best way to help unemployed veterans in general is to hire one. Vetmade Industries is a Non-Profit (501c3) Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.

The Buck Stops Here!
Support for our disabled veterans is even more critical in these terrible economic times. While Vetmade Industries continues to employ as many veterans as it can, and continues to bring in much needed revenue through the sales of our furniture, we need your help.

As with the rest of the economy, non-profit organizations like Vetmade are suffering. With unemployment nearing 10% nation-wide, it is critical that we keep the Veterans of Vetmade working. With your help we will. Our fund raising campaign is easy; send us a dollar, have your friends send us a dollar, tell your boss to send us a dollar.....you get it.

Why only a dollar?
American Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines have given selflessly of themselves to every American. Each one of us owes a debt to every veteran; while a dollar does not seem like much, it represents a small down payment on what each of us owe.

How to give.
On the web site, just click on the donate button and use Pay-Pal to send your dollar. You can mail your dollar to the shop at 1517 West Cypress St Tampa, FL 33606, or better yet, come by the workshop and see the guys.

How to help the campaign.
If you are a Scout, ROTC cadet, church or school group, help us organize an collect money for the veterans. We are printing fliers to hand out and we want to write the names of everyone who gives in a big book to show the grass-roots support for veterans. Call John Campbell at 813-503-8737 if you want to help further or have any ideas how we can help our veterans.
