Red Carpet Commentary

Carrie Ann Inaba joins TV Guide Network as host of signature live Red Carpet coverage, beginning with the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards in September 2009. Ms. Inaba and co-host Chris Harrison will also host TV Guide Network’s live Red Carpet coverage of the Golden Globe® Awards, Screen Actor’s Guild Awards®, Grammy® Awards and Academy Awards® in 2010. A veteran television personality, choreographer, actress, and singer, Ms. Inaba brings her diverse creative talents to the TV Guide Network family.



Ms. Inaba is most famous for her role as a judge on the Emmy® nominated primetime ratings juggernaut “Dancing with the Stars.” In 2007, she also served as a coach and choreographer on the reality competition series “Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann.” In August of 2009, Ms. Inaba produced the Latin and ballroom dance spectacular “Burn The Floor” on Broadway. She recently joined forces with “So You Think You Can Dance” co-creator and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, director Adam Shankman and actress Katie Holmes to launch the Dizzy Feet Foundation, providing scholarships and assistance to talented, underserved youth.



Ms. Inaba’s television career began in 1990 when she starred as a Fly Girl on the popular sketch comedy series “In Living Color.” Her work on “In Living Color” led to an opportunity as dancer and choreographer on Madonna’s “Girlie Show World Tour.” Her extensive choreography credits include a variety of television shows such as: “American Idol,” “American Juniors,” and “The TV Land Awards.” Additional television credits include multiple co-hosting appearances on “The View” and serving as the official pre-show host for the 2008 American Music Awards.
