After having taken the time to tour the Metropolitan Ministries campus, I can honestly say that I was terribly wrong about what this incredible organization is all about.  I pictured a basic food pantry and some dorms, of sorts, by what I found was a complex complete with employment assistance programs, day care, an elementary school, a thrift store, residences, a gourmet style kitchen and much more.  Metropolitan Ministries is going the extra mile to help bay area families in need.  Now, they need us to help them do that in a year when more families than ever will be walking through their doors.
