Video: Support the restoration of Tampa Bay!
It's time to put on your flip-flops and tropical shirts for Tampa Bay Watch's 4th Annual Evening for the Bay fundraiser on November 13, 2010! The event will take place at the Tampa Bay Watch Marine Center in Tierra Verde and will feature delicious food, complimentary beer & wine, a silent auction, live entertainment and one of the best waterfront views in the Bay area--all to benefit Tampa Bay Watch's restoration projects and education programs.
Live entertainment will be provided by Tampa Bay-based dance jam band Rob Irie and Buffalo Strange. The band has been performing jazzy, reggae-tinged world music for the better part of a decade at venues all across Tampa Bay and has become known and appreciated for its uplifting original music. The band's tours have included six international music festivals around the US and a tour in Thailand in 2009.
Another highlight of this year's event is the participation of celebrated local artist Bill Correira - a.k.a. "BC Woo. Woo, an ardent supporter of environmental causes, will be painting live at the event throughout the evening. His finished work will then be auctioned off to benefit Tampa Bay Watch.
Evening for the Bay 2010 is sponsored by American Strategic Insurance, Macy's, Great Bay Distributors and Olympia Catering & Events.
The event will take place at the Tampa Bay Watch Marine Center in Tierra Verde. Tickets are $75 for an individual, $125 for a couple or $800 for a table sponsor (8 seats). Please RSVP by November 10 on tampabaywatch.org, email Jennifer Silva at jsilva@tampabaywatch.org or call 727-867-8166.
