Video: Help Feed Children in Ghana

Volunteer Event To Package 250,000 Meals Heading For Ghana, Africa Will Be Held In Tampa

Feeding Children Everywhere and DeBartolo Development have partnered to purchase, package, and ship 250,000 nutritious meals to a poverty stricken region of Ghana, Africa. Volunteers are needed to help make this all possible. There will be a full day packaging event in Tampa on February 8th at the DeBartolo Development offices located at, 4401 W. Kennedy Blvd. Tampa FL 33609.

The meals that will be packaged and shipped to Ghana consist of lentils, rice, dehydrated vegetables, and Himalayan salt. The ingredients are specifically designed to address the health issues commonly associated with malnutrition. Poverty and access to food continues to be a major struggle for children in rural Ghana as 44% of the population lives on less than $1 per day.
