Sports Illustrated Kids relives some of sports’ most memorable plays and exhilarating moments in Wow! The Pop-Up Book of Sports, the first pop-up book created with real live iconic action photos from multiple sports, available October 27 from Sports Illustrated Books; $26.95 US/$31.95 CAN.

Eight unforgettable moments from recent sports history come to life, including the Red Sox 2004 World Series victory to break the “Curse of the Bambino,” skateboarder Danny Way’s out-of-this-world jump over the Great Wall of China and former Giants wide receiver David Tyree’s unforgettable catch from the winning drive of Super Bowl XLII. Superstars Tiger Woods, LeBron James, Serena Williams and Kelly Slater are among the other athletes featured.

“We are proud to bring the exciting photography and comprehensive reporting that Sports Illustrated is famous for to the world of pop-ups,” says Bob Der, SI Kids Managing Editor. “Images of these superstars and iconic moments literally jump off the pages and promise to wow kids and adults alike.”

Renowned designer Bruce Foster served as the paper engineer of Wow! The Pop-Up Book of Sports.
