Fashion Week is upon us and tomorrow's trends are here!  For those not hitting the runways in New York City who want to be in the fashion loop, we're bringing some top trends for 2011 directly to your viewers. 

Renowned American designer, Thakoon Panichgul, is debuting his latest collection at Fashion Week. Sienna Miller, Jennifer Connolly, Julianne Moore, Tilda Swinton and First Lady Michelle Obama, who wore a floral Thakoon dress during the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination, have worn his clothing. As fabrics are his canvas, clothing care, attainable and usable options are vital to his collections.
 

The Thakoon collection is a true reflection of the highly diverse background of its designer, Thakoon Panichgul. Born in Thailand, raised in Omaha and now New York-based, Panichgul's creations blend various influences with dynamic ingenuity.

Prior to launching his own label, Panichgul spent four years as a writer and editor for Harper's Bazaar. Eventually, he decided to try his hand at design, leading him to Parsons School of Design.

In 2006, Thakoon was one of 3 recipients of the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund and also has been nominated by the CFDA for the Swarovski Award for Best Emerging Womenswear Designer.

Most recently he earned nominations for both the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award as well as the Swiss Textiles Award for 2009.
