The Hillstrands are coming to Tampa just before embarking on their upcoming Alaskan king crab voyage, where they will be taping the sixth season of Discover Channel’s hit series, Deadliest Catch, in order to meet and greet fans during a special two-day appearance at the Bay Area’s premier boat show. While the next season of the Emmy Award-winning series will not air until 2010, attendees will get a sneak peek as the Hillstrands share their deadliest experiences.

About the Hillstrands
Jonathan Hillstrand is a leather-jacket-and-cowboy-boot wearing, Harley-riding guy’s guy known for his love of life on the edge. Fans of the show will remember him for falling overboard while boarding his boat, the Time Bandit, and caring for water logged bird that washed on deck during a storm (he named it Squawkie).

Andy Hillstrand, who believes that “being on a crab boat is like prison with the chance of drowning," has a softer side, training Quartr horses through the natural horsemanship or “horse whisperer” technique when he is not at sea.
