According to "What About Blue" founder Kevin Lilly, there are 1.2 billion people in the world who do not have access to clean, contaminate-free drinking water.  More than 2 million people die yearly from preventable, water-born illnesses.  Kevin and two brave guides decided that these statistics are unacceptable, and later this year, they will kayak the entire Mississippi River in an effort to make a change.  You can help support "What About Blue" in many ways, but the easiest is to make a monthly $5 donation to the cause.  Your money will help fund the creation of wells in communities and villages where water is a rare commodity.
